Date: October 3, 2026
Race Headquarters: Camp Cuyamaca, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park
Entry: 250 qualified entrants.
Qualifications: All entrants must have run a verifiable 50k or longer trail race in 2025 or 2026. If you don't have a qualifier prior to registering, you may list yours as "pending," add the upcoming race, and notify cuyamaca100krace@gmail.com when your qualifier is completed.
WSER qualifier: Runners that complete the course under 17 hours can qualify for Western States, subject to all rules and regulations from the Western States organization.
Registration: 4/1/26 at 6AM PST. See the registration page for detailed information. The registration fee is $255 + Ultrasignup fees. In the event that you must withdraw from the race, you are entitled to a refund of $175 before 7/01/26, and $125 before 9/1/26.
Runner Tracking: As part of our permitting requirements and safety plan, we will be using a live tracking system which requires that you carry a small tracking pod during the race.
Race Start: Saturday, October 3, 6:30 am.
Lodging: Car camping is allowed in the School Camp, but tent camping, RVs, and trailers will not be allowed. Details will be sent out ahead of the race for car campers. Camping is available at Paso Picacho and Green Valley campgrounds within Cuyamaca Ranch State Park. Hotels and Airbnbs are available at Lake Cuyamaca, Julian, and Alpine nearby. You can also stay in San Diego proper, it is a 1 hour drive in the morning.
Time Limit: 19 hour time limit with intermediate cutoffs.
Awards: All finishers will receive a 100k medal. The overall winners will get a free entry to next year's race, and 1-3rd place and masters winners will receive a unique hand-crafted award.
Course: 100 kilometers in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. A small portion of the race takes place in Anza Borrego State Park.
Aid Stations: Aid stations will have as a minimum: water, Tailwind Nutrition Sport Drink, Huma Gels, fruit 🍌, salty foods/chips, sweets (cookies, candy, etc), and ice. Later aid stations serve hot food and broth.

Volunteering: This type of event could not take place without the selfless efforts of the volunteer force. If you would like to volunteer, please complete the form located here. Volunteer duties may include course marking or sweeping, aid station help, road crossing marshals, parkin/g management, etc..
